What is the difference between an open and a closed survey?
Open survey:
An open survey doesn't request any legitimation. Actually anybody that knows the poll's link can attend the survey. You could public this link for example on your homepage or send it per e-mail.
Closed survey:
At a closed survey only persons that have been appointed in a participants register can participate at your poll. Every participant will be authorized by an especially generated access code. This access code will be delivered by askallo sending an automatical invitation e-mail.
May I examine the questionnaire of a participant which has aborted a poll?
- No, we're sorry. In case of poll abortion the questionnaire data is not available. By sending the questionnaire each participant gives his explicit agreement to use this data, comparable with any polls on paper by sending them. When a participant cancels a poll and does not send it, this explicit agreement is missing.
What you can do is to remind him per e-mail. The according persons will be remembered to participate at your survey.
Is a personalized reply possible?
Yes, it is. You can realize a poll with a closed circle of users. Each participant will receive then an individual access code. Our invitation system will automatically generate personalized invitation e-mails, which already include the personal access code in the link to open the poll site.
May I see how single participants answered their questionnaires?
No, you cannot see who did respond your questionnaire. You may assure absolute anonymity to your interviewees. We are the "neutral third party" when it comes to conducting a survey with a group of participants in private. Incoming questionnaires are forwarded from us to the survey organizer strictly anonymous. The invited participants can not be allocated.
Alternative: At the beginning of a poll you may ask the participant about his personal dates like name and age.
Can a participant continue a before aborted questionnaire?
Yes, the participants can open again the questionnaire by clicking on the link. Then they can either continue with their unfinished questionnaire or begin a new one.
Can I reuse former surveys (e.g. for repeating or periodic surveys)?
Feel free to create a new poll based on an older one at anytime.
How many polls may I realize at the same time or in a consecutive way (one after another)?
You can realize as many polls as you want to, whether parallel or one after another. There is no limit as long your tariff doesn't expire.
Is it possible to import the address dates?
Yes, you can import existing data records (address lists) into askallo in CSV-format and so create lists of participants to take advantage of these later in other surveys, if you want to.
In which languages may I create a poll?
The askallo system uses the Unicode Character Set and the utf8-Encoding. With this technology we can use almost all languages.
This means, you can not only use askallo for your surveys in european / western languages like English, German, Spanish, French or Italian but for your surveys in Turkish, Russian, Polish, Chinese and many other languages.
Can I extend duration of a poll afterwards?
You can modify a poll's duration at anytime - as long as it has not yet been activated - by changing the expiring date.
